(But the serious side was still there so that made the game bearable) SR1 was good but not perfect, SR2 was perfect but it had some short comings, SR3 was not bad but the awesome features from the second game was gone and the way they relied on the silly/goofy side, rather than the serious side was a tad bit annoying. (Who would drive a car when you can jump-glide or run faster than any vehicle there is.) Not to mention super powers causing the driving both useless and meaningless. (It uses all the SR3 resources but they added super powers and a few story missions here and there. And the game itself is more like a mod than a game. They didn't have to ruin Saints Row franchise. I mean, i think the game is not that bad and all, but it would work better as a separate game. I'm just a bit upset about how they took a perfectly good franchise and turned it into a joke. The first one I liked his Beetlejuice smirk but the Chucky element made me uncomfortable:

so insane that I have to confess I wasted 9 hours in the game because I couldn't decide what kind of character I wanted to "roleplay": The very activities have like 6 levels in each location (instead of each location being a level), there are more of them, the customization is insane. Graphicswise I only have two problems: nighttime where you can barely see a thing and badly optimized graphics (SR3 I could run with very good graphics on the same PC, why can't I have everything maxed in SR2?).īut yeah, much bigger and better game. I like how they behave in the console GTAs, but since on PC I prefer using keyboard and mouse -mainly for the gunplay- I have to suffer either the "all over te keyboard" controls or the very sensitive mouse for tilting the chopper. The driving and piloting controls are pretty much crap although one ends getting used to them (in SR3 they were very good, and I didn't mind helicopters being controlled "like a truck", at least I could make them do what I wanted. I on the contrary am now playing for the first time SR2 (I got it from the humble deep silver bundle) and I'm seeing what Wisdom means.
